The Project fosters cooperation, multicultural understanding, and tolerance, as well as promotes a better understanding of the EU and its engagement in the region.

Emergency Support to civil society and media in response to the Ukraine war (ESU)

The overall objective of the project is to strengthen the resilience and effectiveness of war-affected civil society organizations and actors.

The specific objectives are:

To support CSOs and civil society actors affected by the war in Ukraine to continue their work, either inside their countries or by escaping war zones or countries that are affected by the conflict.

To strengthen resilience in Ukraine and the EaP countries receiving refugees against disinformation and pro-Russian propaganda, whilst promoting tolerance and understanding between ordinary citizens and refugees and between groups of refugees.

The Marathon in New York No One Wants to Run

With each year, marathons gain greater and greater popularity. The TCS New York City Marathon is one of the most prominent events, attracting over 50,000 runners from across the world and receiving extensive media coverage.

The project was created to draw the attention of the international community to Russian aggression in the East of Ukraine. “The marathon that no one wants to run began in the Ukrainian New York of the Donetsk region, just a kilometer from the front line, on the day of the famous New York Marathon. In just ten days, more than 35,500 participants registered for the race to support Ukraine.

All participants received a runner's starting number with a fact about the war and postcards of Ukrainian New York, and then a medal with a part of a spent cartridge case from the east of Ukraine.

Our direct volunteer assistance for the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
